Windstar on Naples Bay Local Rules
1. U.S.G.A. Rules apply, except as modified by local rules.
2. Lateral Water Hazards - Holes #5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 – Mangroves/natural areas to the left and behind, and;
Holes #16, 17 & 18 – Mangroves/natural areas to the right and behind –
These areas are considered lateral water hazards. The margin of the hazard is defined by the grass line. In the absence of a grass line, the outside edge of the cart path defines the hazard.
3. Out of Bounds - In the absence of stakes, the golf course edge of roadways define the O.B. line. Any ball crossing a roadway and coming to rest on another part of the course is deemed to be out of bounds. All fences and walls bordering the golf course are boundary fences – No relief is granted. Any ball coming to rest on the home owners’ side of any water hazard or lateral water hazard is out of bounds.
4. The embedded ball rule is in effect through the green.
5. Cart Paths – All cart paths shall be played as Immovable Obstructions.
6. Artificial measuring devices are permitted in competition.
7. If a ball lies through the green and an immovable obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green and within two club-lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief.
8. On hole #17 as an additional option for a ball hit into a hazard a player may under penalty of one stroke use the drop zone located behind the bronze tee.
