Certified Audubon Cooperative SanctuaryIn 1998, Windstar was designated a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System. Windstar is one of a select group of Clubs in the United States to receive this distinction. To attain certification a course must demonstrate and maintain a high degree of environmental quality in areas such as Environmental Planning, Wildlife & Habitat Management, Outreach and Education, Water Conservation and Water Quality Management.
